Other Notable Projects
This page has many of my academic, professional, and personal projects. Please scroll through the images for each project and hover over any pictures for more information. Also feel free to click on any links to learn more about each project.

Storage Steps (Fall 2018)
In freshman year of college, I took a design course that allowed me to work with real clients and learn the design process. My class was assigned to create a dresser that was safe for children and could not tip over. To learn more about the project, you can go to the page here.

CAD in Solidworks of the device

Putting the device in water.

Shedd Sensor (Winter 2021-Spring 2021)
In my junior year of college, I took a two quarter design project course. I was assigned to create an underwater sensor that could anchor to the bottom of the ocean floor and record underwater current speeds and direction. To learn more about the project, you can go to the page here.

Rube Goldberg Machine (Spring 2017)
In junior year of high school, my physics class was tasked to build a Rube Goldberg Machine for less than $100, using the principles we learned in class. To learn more about the project, you can go to the page here.

Compost Bin (Summer 2020)
In the summer of 2020, my brother asked if I could build him a compost bin tumbler to decompose kitchen waste and fallen leaves into nutrient rich dirt. He wanted a bin that would be inexpensive to construct and make it easy to mix the material. Together we discussed and created a way to easily mix the compost and access to mixture once it was ready. 3D Printed Key Chain (2021)
I designed on Solidworks and 3D printed Avatar the Last Airbender Key Chains as a gift to a friend. I made both Zuko's mask and swords from a reference figure. In my design, I made each piece interlocking so the individual colors could be printed instead of painted.

iPhone Case (Fall 2021)
In an additive manufacturing class, I designed a iPhone case that looks like a TV with a kickstand and a card holder embedded in it. To manufacture the case, I operated a Connex 350 jet printer. To read more about the project, click here.

There is no easy way to vertically mount SRAM's battery charger. I created a 3D printable mount that can hold the charger. By plugging in the USB cable, it locks the charger into the mount. Additionally, this mount is modular and can link with other modules.

The recommended reverberation time in offices is 400-700ms. Before installation, the average reverberation time was 1011.5 ms. After installation, the average reverberation time decreased about 10% to 916.72 ms. The next steps were to order and install more panels to achieve recommended reverberation time.

SRAM Mini Projects (Summer 2021)
During my internship at SRAM, I had a main project that (that you can see here) and multiple mini projects that ranged from small CAD designing projects on Creo to makerspace improvements to writeups on competitors products. Please scroll and click the pictures for more information.

Geartrain (Spring 2022)
In a team project, me and my teammates were assigned to designing a full geartrain based on given speed and power inputs and a desired speed output. We discussed and calculated the stress and strains for an appropriated gear ratio train. I was in charge of designing the last gear and shaft in the geartrain based off of force and torque transfer calculations. Additionally, I selected bearings for my section that could withstand the impacts of the gearing mechanism. To read more about the project, click here.

After everyone In my group finished their parts, I assembled the full assembly and created the explosive view.

Gearbox (Spring 2020)
In a team project, me and my teammates were assigned to fabricate a gearbox housing and shafts with proper fits and GD&T from given gear, bearing, and key dimensions. I modeled the gear shaft. To read more about the project, click here.

CNC Design Block (Fall 2021)
In an individual project, I was assigned to create a design on a block of aluminum that has both a planer and curved surface. I designed a bird with a curved center and planar wings and tail on Siemen NX. To read more about the project, click here.

Unicycle CAD Design (Spring 2020)
In an individual project, I to designed a unicycle from a given frame and axle model. I created the wheel, seat, and pedal of the unicycle to fit the given models on Siemen NX.
