Compost Bin
An at home rotatable compost bin used for turning organic waste into nutrient-rich soil

Background
When composting, the waste needs to be thoroughly mixed every day. This allows for faster decomposition and even mixture. However, mixing by hand is physically exhausting and can potentially lead to non-uniform mixture. Also as the substances decomposes, it secretes liquids that are harmful to the nutrients and decomposing process.
Design
A turn-able compost bin that has drainage holes. The bin is placed on wheels to allow for easy mixing. To let the liquid drain out from the bin, draining holes were drilled along the length of the of the bin every 60 degrees.
Product
To build this bin, I researched composting processes, designed the idea on CAD, and constructed the frame the the bin would sit on.
